For the first time in Colorado, AlterNation LLC is announcing its SafeGrowth – Next generation CPTED training. This is a unique CPTED training opportunity in a Class A CPTED Accredited course approved by the International CPTED Association. 


This course is a comprehensive training course in a hybrid format: 2 face-to-face classroom days, interim project work, a series of online sessions and self-directed study. The overall training is completed over a 2-3 month period.


The course is accredited under the ICA's Course Accreditation Program (CAP) - Class B. Any candidates completing this course will be exempt from the following 8 (out of 11) competencies should they wish to pursue CPTED Certification under the ICA's Individual CPTED Certification Program (ICCP):

  • Competency Unit 01 - Define Scope of Task/Project
  • Competency Unit 02 - Work as Part of a Multidisciplinary Team
  • Competency Unit 03 - Undertake Research in the Nominated Environment
  • Competency Unit 04 - Read and Interpret Plans & Drawings
  • Competency Unit 06 - Apply Knowledge of Regulatory Processes
  • Competency Unit 07 - Analyze and Assess Underlying Conditions
  • Competency Unit 08 - Compile Written Report
  • Competency Unit 09 - Assess CPTED Options
