La Asociación Internacional CPTED en su capítulo ICA-LAC (ICA-Latino America) anuncia con orgullo el próximo seminario web gratuito en colaboración con Publika Consulting (PBK), el segundo de la serie de seminarios web regionales en todas las regiones de ICA.

La 'Prevención del Crimen a través del Diseño Ambiental' es una estrategia de reducción del crimen y ha sido impulsada e implementada en todo el mundo desde la década de 1970 en la 3a Generación de desarrollo considerando la pirámide de Maslow como referencia, está abordando temas como la autorrealización y la salud, también física como psicológico.

La salud mental es un tema relevante en todo el mundo, ya que está íntimamente relacionado en algún momento con la violencia. Los eventos recientes relacionados con la pandemia de COVID19, el encierro, el estrés personal y social, han creado un "ambiente emocional" severo a nivel personal y comunitario, y el ICA bajo el marco de CPTED 3rd Gen abordará el tema y lo traerá a discusión.

La integración de los tres entornos, el físico, el social y el psico emocional son relevantes en el desarrollo de CPTED 3 Gen. Debatir y reflexionar sobre ellos es primordial en la actualidad.

Actualmente, es candidato a doctorado en Administración Pública en la Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas. Además, poseer una Maestría en Ciencias Políticas, así como una Maestría en Estudios Penales y Seguridad Ciudadana. Armando es licenciado en filosofía y teología. Finalmente, ha estudiado muchos cursos sobre metodologías como: CPTED, Disuasión enfocada, Cultura ciudadana, Comunicación de cambio de comportamiento, Cambio de comportamiento cognitivo e integración de políticas públicas de prevención del delito en diferentes Universidades y escuelas de prestigio como la Universita per Stranieri di Perugia en Italia.

Experiencia Laboral

En la actualidad, Armando es el jefe de la oficina de Prevención del Delito del Gobierno del Estado de Zacatecas. Previamente, fue director del Centro de Prevención del Delito del Gobierno de Zacatecas, así como subdirector de participación ciudadana. Además, Armando tiene experiencia como consultor de seguridad y trabajo en la sociedad civil.

Especialista en metodología CPTED (Crime Prevention Thorugh Environmental Design) con éxito comprobado en el diagnóstico, diseño, ejecución y evaluación de proyectos de Prevención de Violencia y Delitos desde una perspectiva Ambiental. Consultor internacional en seguridad urbana con metodología CPTED del BID (Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo), Banco Mundial, Un-Habitat, y de gobiernos centrales como SEDESOL, México, Ministerio del Interior, Chile y gobiernos locales como Toronto, Quito, Ecuador; Recoleta, Providencia, Santiago y Antofagasta en Chile entre otros. CARLOS GUTIERREZ

ARQUITECTO, MIEMBRO DEL CONSEJO DE LA ICA, DIRECTOR ICA LAC

Carlos es arquitecto y urbanista, egresado de la Universidad de Chile, Chile.

También tiene formación en psicología y ha realizado psicoterapia durante más de 20 años.

Ha realizado estudios especializados en el área de Neurociencias con especialidad en Bio Neuroemoción, y psicología en la prevención de la violencia en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras.

Es un estudiante dedicado de la conducta humana y el desarrollo social, conocimiento que ha aplicado en su labor profesional con proyectos de desarrollo comunitario en diversas comunidades de América Latina.

Carlos es cofundador de la Región CPTED y uno de los primeros impulsores de la metodología CPTED en América Latina

Es Director de la Asociación Internacional CPTED y Director de CPTED Latinoamérica.

Actualmente reside en Honduras donde ha desarrollado una gran cantidad de proyectos de desarrollo social, urbano y comunitario aplicando la metodología CPTED y también ha implementado estrategias de prevención de la violencia con una visión desde la psicología.

DR. MERCEDES ESCUDERO CARMONA

Es Licenciada en Ciencias de la Comunicación por la FCPyS de la UNAM; con maestría en Comunicación y especialización en comunicación política e institucional, de la Universidad Iberoamericana. Recibió un Doctorado Honoris Causa en Carrera Académica y Empresarial con Impacto Social del Claustro de Doctores Honoris Causa de México en febrero de 2020.

Es profesora de la Universidad Iberoamericana desde 2000 y del campus norte de la Universidad Anáhuac. Actualmente, es Presidente del Capítulo México de (ICA): organización social que se dedica a: la construcción de espacios seguros, con experiencia en el ámbito público y privado, ámbitos ambientales, bioseguridad; social, comunitaria, situacional y psicosocial.

También es investigadora y directora general del Centro de Estudios en Seguridad Ciudadana y Humana SC (CESCH).

Socio fundador de la consultora STRATEGYMEC SA de CV: empresa dedicada a la planificación estratégica y comunicación para el posicionamiento de marca, productos, servicios, empresas y personas y ha sido reconocida como líder influyente en México.

DIGNA LOPEZ

PSICÓLOGO coordinador del Diplomado “Psicología y Prevención de la Violencia

Digna tiene una Maestría en Psicología Social Comunitaria de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile y una Licenciatura en Psicología de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras.

Digna también tiene estudios de posgrado en Seguridad Ciudadana. Universidad de Oberta de España y el Aula Virtual del Programa de Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo (modalidad virtual).

También se ha formado en la Metodología "Hombres que promueven el Cambio" en una sinergia académica entre la Universidad de Málaga en España y la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras UNAH. Programa que observa la prevención de la violencia desde una perspectiva de género y psicológica.

Como parte del equipo académico de la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras, ha trabajado en programas de Prevención de la Violencia desde la Psicología.

En el ámbito académico, ha sido parte de la creación de la “Caja de Herramientas de Prevención de la Violencia Intersectorial” del Programa PREVENIR / Agencia de Cooperación Alemana. GIZ.

Actualmente es coordinadora del Diplomado “Psicología y Prevención de la Violencia”, programa creado en conjunto con la cooperación técnica alemana GIZ.

The International CPTED Association - LAC Region (ICA Latino America) proudly announces the upcoming free webinar in collaboration with Publika Consulting (PBK), the second in the series of Regional Webinars across all ICA Regions.

ICA-LAC in partnership with PBK Consulting is bringing to you a discussion on CPTED in Mental Health and Violence Prevention.

‘Crime Prevention through Environmental Design’ is a strategy of crime reduction and has been promoted and implemented around the world since the 1970s. The recently introduced theory of 3rd Generation CPTED, still under development, considers the Maslow hierarchy of needs as a reference, and approaches issues like self-fulfillment and health, physical as well as psychological environments.

Mental health is a relevant issue around the world, since it is closely related with violence. The recent events related to COVID-19 pandemic, lock downs, personal and social stress, has created a harsh “emotional environment” at personal, and community level. The panel will discuss this topic under the framework of the 3rd Generation CPTED.

The integration of the three environments, the physical, the social and the psycho-emotional are relevant in the development of the 3rd Generation CPTED. Discussing and reflecting upon them is paramount at present time.

This will be an online discussion forum where the experienced panelists with a vast knowledge on the subject will share experiences with you and address the questions posed by the audience.

  • The psychological approach to violence prevention at community level.
  • Practical methodologies for approaching psychological work at community level.

In the present, Armando is the chief of the Crime Prevention office of the State Government of Zacatecas. Previously, he was the director of the Center of Crime Prevention in the Government of Zacatecas, as well as a subdirector of citizen participation. MERCEDES ESCUDERO CARMONA, PHD

She has a degree in Communication Sciences from the FCPyS of the UNAM; with a Master's degree in Communication and specialization in political and institutional communication, from the Universidad Iberoamericana. She received an Honorary Doctorate for Academic and Business Career with Social Impact from the Claustro de Doctores Honoris Causa of Mexico in February 2020.

She is a professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana since 2000 and at the Universidad Anáhuac north campus. Currently, he is President of the Mexico Chapter of (ICA): a social organization that is dedicated to: the construction of safe spaces, with experience in the public and private spheres, environmental spheres, biosecurity; social, community, situational and psychosocial.

She is also a researcher and General Director of the Center for Studies on Citizen and Human Security SC (CESCH).

Founding partner of the consulting firm STRATEGYMEC SA de CV: company dedicated to strategic planning and communication for brand positioning, products, services, companies and people and has been recognized as an influential leader in Mexico.

Digna has a Master's degree in Community Social Psychology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and a BA in Psychology from the National Autonomous University of Honduras.
