VANESSA GROB

Architect, Europe & Africa; CPTED France

Vanessa Grob (CPTED France) is an architect specialised in sustainable architecture and Regenerative PractitionerTM. She works designing in a bioclimatic (eco-friendly) way, which means taking care of the project site and its natural conditions, using natural materials, and integrating the know-how of the territory. These designs have been built in France, Italy, Chili, Guadeloupe, French Guyana, Ecuador, Algeria, Burundi and Rwanda. Vanessa hence brings with her the unique combination of experience of CPTED practices in the European Region and Africa.

DR. MERCEDES ESCUDERO CARMONA

Communicologist & Security Expert, ICA Regional Director, Latin America

Mercedes Escudero Carmona is a Communicologist and a specialist in security, risk analysis and socio-urban interventions for crime prevention and achieving peace territories. She is Regional Director for Latin America of the ICA, President of CPTED Mexico and founding partner, researcher and General Director of the Study Center in Citizen and Human Security. She has worked with various governments in Mexico and is a national-international lecturer and commentator specializing in security and prevention of violence and crime in various media.

DR. MANJARI KHANNA KAPOOR

Architect & Academian, ICA Director, Asia @ICA

Dr. Kapoor is a practising architect and academician at the leading architectural schools of Delhi NCR. She is the first in South Asian region to pioneer ‘security through architectural design’, propagating the concepts of CPTED and counter terrorism through design. For this objective she is the Founder President of ‘Association for Building Security - India’s chapter of the ICA and a Director on the Board of the International CPTED Association (ICA). She is also the author and Chairperson of the SEQURE standards for design of buildings and rating systems.
