ICA 2008 International Conference Announced!
The ICA with the cooperation of the Community Life Improvement Council has announced that the 2008 International ICA Conference will be held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada this October 8-10.
Registration and program information will be avilable very shortly and persons wishing to submit a presentation may send that submission to office@cpted.net for review. Mark your calendars for what will be an exciting and important conference!

Welcome to the International CPTED Association (ICA)
New On-Line Programs and More!
In February the ICA held a board meeting in Washington, DC and made some significant movement towards more resources and services for our members. Discussed and in process are on-line training for basic CPTED, updates to the Certification program, positive direction for support of regional CPTED organizations and the on-going creation of the best on-line resource for practitioners.
If you have not received your renewal for 2008, please let us know. Your Board decided in December to suspend invoicing for 2008 memberships until we modernized and refocused the organization, however the emails and calls of support and the desire for people to continue to pay their dues has been significant. Dues will remain optional for the year 2008 but your financial support will ensure we make this transition and deliver the much needed resources you have been asking for. Thank you for your confidence and please let us know of ideas or suggestions you may have that can improve the ICA.

What's New
For those interested in obtaining some CPTED e-learning, a Spanish language version of the course has just been launched on the website of ICA's Latin America chapter located a www.cpted.cl. An English version is planned for in 2008.
